They also brought Klee Vaporize and decided to use a Noelle Hypercarry deck (Noelle/Stonehide Lawachurl/Rhodeia of Loch) as their second choice. The Asia Major winner was none other than Buer, achieving an almost perfect run towards first place. Sadly, he wasn’t able to quite bring home the win this time. Although crepaholic was stopped at semifinals with this deck, it had an indelible amount of success in other regions.įor second place, Ark brought a meta staple, Klee Vaporize (Klee/Mona/Fatui Pyro Agent) nuking his opponents down with Pyro Resonance, and another decently popular deck this tournament: Ganyu Superconduct (Fischl/Ganyu/Keqing), which is able to deal incredible amounts of AoE DMG before letting a Keqing/Fischl burst or a Ganyu Frostflake arrow snipe the last remaining opponents. A deck which makes use of the very efficient summons from Rhodeia and Fischl, alongside Mirror Maiden’s Refraction debuff to turn a measly bird and squirrel into terrifying threats. Our other Asia semifinalist, crepaholic, also brought Keqing Overload, but they also decided to bring a deck that at the time was completely new - and now is one of the strongest decks in the game - Electro-Charged Control (Fischl/Rhodeia of Loch/Mirror Maiden). By having a very favorable matchup into Ganyu decks, this deck became a very common choice among the participants - funnily enough, even more popular than the Ganyu Decks themselves. Today we’ll take a look at what they brought to the tournament, seeing both old meta staples and some new creations that have gotten a lot more popular after the competition.įor Asia, ReddShifted reached semifinals bringing their own version of Double Anemo Control (Mona/Sucrose/Jean) as well as one of the most popular decks of this tournament: Keqing Overload (Bennett/Keqing/Fatui Pyro Agent). The GITCG 3.4 Majors have ended, bringing us some incredible gameplay by our top performing players this season.
